GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU (MUNGU ATAKUPIGANIA)

1 Sam 17:45-47 “Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. "This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. "Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD'S, and He will give you into our hands."”

A Goliath is standing in front of your dreams. He wants to stop you from reaching your destiny. David won this battle because he knew how to trust God and give Him the glory He deserved. He did not boast about his experience in battle. He told him you come to me with a sword but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts. He did not say I will kill you by my power but the LORD will deliver you into my hands and I will kill you. He did not have a sword but he still said I will cut off your head. He knew that he would use the same sword of his enemy to cut off his head. Whoever digs a pit for you will fall into it himself!

David pleased God when he said that all the earth would know that there was a God in Israel and that the battle was not mine but the LORD’s. Even you know that the battle is the LORD’s and the victory is yours.

MUNGU ATAKUPIGANIA

1 Samweli 17:45-47 “Ndipo Daudi akamwambia yule Mfilisti, Wewe unanijia mimi na upanga, na fumo, na mkuki, bali mimi ninakujia wewe kwa jina la Bwana wa majeshi, Mungu wa majeshi ya Israeli uliowatukana. Siku hii ya leo Bwana atakuua mkononi mwangu, nami nitakupiga, na kukuondolea kichwa chako, nami leo nitawapa ndege wa angani na wanyama wa nchi mizoga ya majeshi ya Wafilisti, ili kwamba dunia nzima wajue ya kuwa yuko Mungu katika Israeli. Nao jamii ya watu wote pia wajue ya kwamba Bwana haokoi kwa upanga wala kwa mkuki; maana vita ni vya Bwana, naye atawatia ninyi mikononi mwetu.”

Kuna Goliati aliyesimama mbele ya ndoto zako. Anataka kukuzuia usifikie hatima yako. Daudi alishinda vita hii kwa sababu alijua jinsi ya kumtegemea Mungu na kumpa utukufu anaostahili. Hakusifia uzoefu wake wa kupigana. Alimwambia wewe unanijia na upanga lakini mimi ninakujia na jina la BWANA wa majeshi. Hakusema nitakuua kwa uwezo wangu bali Bwana atakutia katika mikono yangu ndipo nikuue. Hakuwa na panga lakini bado alisema nitakukata kichwa chako. Alijua kwamba atatumia panga lilelile la adui yake kumkatia kichwa. Yeyote aliyekuchimbia shimo atatumbukia mwenyewe!

Daudi alimfurahisha Mungu aliposema, dunia nzima itajua kuwa yuko Mungu katika Israeli na kwamba vita sio ya kwangu bali ni ya Bwana. Hata wewe tambua kwamba vita ni ya Bwana na ushindi ni wa kwako.
