7. God can make a cruel person care for you

What would have happened to Elijah if he had not gone near the stream of Kerith during the famine? 1 Kings 17:2-6 “2 Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, 3 "Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 4 "And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there." 5 So he went and did according to the word of the LORD, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook.” Not only does God bless the work we are doing today but also sometimes He moves us to another place. If God blessed his servant in a small stream, He can bless you in the village, the remote area, or the city. That is why today there are successful people in villages while some in cities have failed in life. God tested Elijah’s obedience by ordering the raven to go to Kerithi, not where he was talking to him. If a raven can be forced to bring you meat and it obeys, God can make stingy and difficult people bless you even if they don't want to. Ask yourself, how can a raven take meat in its mouth and bring it to you instead of eating it? This teaches us that God can speak to the boss who bullies you, who hurts you in your life, and robs you of your rights. God will command him because of your obedience to God.

Unadhani nini kingetokea kwa Eliya kama hangeenda karibu na kijito cha Kerithi wakati wa njaa? 1 Fal 17:2-6 “2 Neno la Bwana likamjia, kusema,3 Ondoka hapa, geuka, uende upande wa mashariki, ujifiche karibu na kijito cha Kerithi kinachokabili Yordani. 4 Itakuwa utakunywa maji ya kile kijito; nami nimewaamuru kunguru wakulishe huko. 5 Basi akaenda akafanya kama alivyosema Bwana; kwa kuwa akaenda akakaa karibu na kijito cha Kerithi, kinachokabili Yordani. 6 Kunguru wakamletea mkate na nyama asubuhi, na mkate na nyama jioni, akanywa maji ya kile kijito.” Sio tu kwamba Mungu anabariki kazi zetu tunazofanya leo bali pia kuna wakati anataka tuhamie mahali pengine. Kama Mungu alimbariki mtumishi wake kwenye kijito kidogo, anaweza kukubariki ukiwa kijijini, porini au mjini. Ndio maana leo kuna watu wamefanikiwa kijijini wakati wengine walioko mjini wamefeli maisha.  Mungu alipima utii wa Eliya kwa kuamuru kunguru aende Kerithi na sio pale alipokuwa anaongea naye. Kama kunguru anaweza kulazimishwa kukuletea nyama na akatii, Mungu anaweza kuwafanya watu bahili na wagumu kukubariki hata kama hawataki. Jiulize, kunguru anawezaje kuchukua nyama mdomoni akuletee badala ya kuila? Hii inatufundisha kwamba Mungu anaweza kusema na yule bosi anayekuonea, anayekuumiza katika maisha yako, na kukunyang’anya haki zako. Mungu atasema naye na kumuamrisha kwa sababu ya utii wako kwa Mungu.
