12. If you do not tithe you will not enjoy your blessings

Pay the full tithe. Tithing is one of the teachings that many people do not want to hear. But I want you to know that no one is exempt from giving tithes, be it a believer, a pastor, or a bishop. Everyone is responsible for tithing.  Heb 7:9 “Even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, so to speak.” This is a New Testament text about tithing. Some people say tithing was not mentioned in the New Testament. Here we learn that even those who receive tithe should give tithe. So no one is called to teach others to pay tithe when he does not. Anyone who avoids paying tithe must suffer bad consequences even if he looks outwardly blessed. We find people today who have houses but don't enjoy them, they are married but don't enjoy their marriages, they are wealthy but do not enjoy it. Deu 28:30 “"You shall betroth a wife, but another man shall lie with her; you shall build a house, but you shall not dwell in it; you shall plant a vineyard, but shall not gather its grapes.” Here we learn that blessing is not only about possessing but also about enjoying what you possess. So on the outside, you may look like a blessed person, but you are not happy and don't enjoy the things you own. Therefore, you are not yet blessed in the divine principles of blessings.

Toa zaka kamili. Utoaji wa zaka ni moja ya mafundisho ambayo watu wengi hawataki kuyasikia. Lakini nataka ujue kwamba hakuna mtu mwenye msamaha wa kutoa zaka, awe muumini, Mchungaji au Askofu. Kila mtu anawajibika kutoa zaka. Ebr 7:9 “Tena yaweza kusemwa ya kuwa, kwa njia ya Ibrahimu, hata Lawi apokeaye sehemu ya kumi alitoa sehemu ya kumi.” Hili ni andiko la Agano Jipya kuhusu zaka. Kuna watu wanasema zaka haikutajwa kwenye Agano Jipya. Hapa tunajifunza kwamba hata wanaopokea zaka wanapaswa kutoa zaka. Hivyo hakuna mtu wa kufundisha tu wengine watoe zaka wakati yeye hatoi. Yeyote anayeepuka kutoa zaka lazima atapata matokeo mabaya hata kama kwa nje anaonekana kama amebarikiwa. Wako watu leo wana nyumba lakini hawazifurahii, wana ndoa lakini hawazifurahii, wana mali lakini hawazifurahii. Kum 28:30 “Utaposa mke na mume mwingine atalala naye; utajenga nyumba usiikae; utapanda mizabibu usitumie matunda yake.” Hapa tunajifunza kwamba kubarikiwa sio kumiliki peke yake bali ni kufurahia unachokimiliki. Kwa hiyo kwa nje unaweza kuonekana kama mtu uliyebarikiwa unayemiliki vitu lakini kimsingi huna furaha yeyote wala huvifurahii vitu unavyovimiliki. Kwa hiyo bado hujabarikiwa katika kanuni za Mungu za kubarikiwa.
