10. Connect
with the keyholder of your breakthrough
Hold on to the person who holds the keys to your blessings. Gen 32:24-29 “24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. 25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob's hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. 26 And He said, "Let Me go, for the day breaks." But he said, "I will not let You go unless You bless me!" 27 So He said to him, "What is your name?" He said, "Jacob." 28 And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed." 29 Then Jacob asked, saying, "Tell me Your name, I pray." And He said, "Why is it that you ask about My name?" And He blessed him there.” Jacob wrestled to receive the blessing. You don't have to meet God and wrestle with Him like this! But some people are angels to us. Abraham welcomed the strangers without knowing they were angels holding his blessings for a promised child. We are emphasized in the New Testament to entertain strangers because we cannot know which one is our angel. Heb 13:2 “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.” Here we learn that you can receive blessings directly from God but sometimes He uses His people endowed with different keys. Maybe you refuse to recognize someone with your blessings because of pride. You need to build a relationship with this kind of person to receive your blessings as God intended.

26 Akasema, Niache, niende, maana kunapambazuka. Akasema, Sikuachi, usiponibariki. 27 Akamwuliza, Jina lako n'nani? Akasema, Yakobo. 28 Akamwambia, Jina lako hutaitwa tena Yakobo, ila Israeli, maana umeshindana na Mungu, na watu, nawe umeshinda. 29 Yakobo akamwuliza, akasema, Niambie, tafadhali, jina lako? Akasema, Kwa nini waniuliza jina langu? Akambariki huko.”
